The whales, kangaroos, and camel

Catherine living in Sydney asked me "Do you eat Whales?".
I answered "I don't eat them, but some people in Japanese have eaten them since old days"
When she got my answer,　she twisted her mouth.
Then she told me why eating them was wrong.

Whales are very clever, and numbers of them are gradually decreasing , so we must protect them.
I think it is important to investigate them.
So I don't know why some of Australia disturb our ship for investigation.

The top of various disturbing groups is Sea Shepherd.
Some of people protecting Whales don't think they are just right.

6th January 2010 as soon as we came back to Japan, soon , Sea Shepherd and the ship for investigation clashed.
The friendly relationship between Australia and Japan changed unluckily.
The problem about Whales hunting becomes a big trobble, I think we need to talk about Whales hunting.

I don't eat whales, I think our food are enough except the meat of whales.
Because there are a lot of fish in the sea.
We might have to talk about ｗhales now.

By the way, I would like to talk about kangaroos.

"Do you know Australian eat kangaroos?"
I was surprised to hear that.
Catherine told us that Australians eat kangaroos because kangaroos are increasing.
If kangaroos increase, the legs of the kangaroo harden soil, and plants don't grow.

Though she doen't like meat, she made an effort to eat meat hard
I wonder why such lovely animals are eaten.

So Hideo searched kangaroos of Australia by Internet.
The numbers of kangaroos have increased over 50,000,000 now, and done damage to the agriculture and environment.

So the government of Australia directed to hunt about 3,000,000 of kangaroos a year.
They are exported to 55 countries.

Kangaroos live at animal park in Japan, but in Australia kangaroos become meat.
It is a strange story.

In fact camels become meat now because of increasing.
Australians eat kangaroos and camels, and Japanese eat whales.
It is not simple problem as difference of culture, I think it is a big problem.
