8.Paddy's Market and Chinatown

We stayed at the Novotel Rockford Darling Harbor Hotel. The impression of it was common.
But some traffics was very convenient for us.
I enjoyed looking at the big Ferris wheel and a Chinese garden from the window.

Everytime China town was crowded and interesting.
When we come back to the hotel, we always went in the Chinatown if it was very late.

In the same as Chinatown, there was also Paddy's market near the hotel.
Since I went into it at the first day, we went 3 times.
I was lost whenever I went to the market.

You can find it soon. It opens from 9:00 to 17:00, Tursday-Sunday/holiday.

Every thing is sold for example T-shirts, days goods, cosmetics in the market.
The area of vegetables and fruits are interesting place, these are sold at very cheap price.
I bought a bottle case printed kangaroo pictures in this shop.
Many people of China and Asia work as a shop's honor.
I wonder most goods is made in China and Asia.
He is a artist. At first he has a small board, and draws a guest's name with lines of gradations line.
It is very strange.
Many people watched his wonderful hand.
When I entered the area of vegetables and fruits, Various colors jump into my eyes.

The crowded Chinatown(30th December 2009-3ed January,2010)
Even midnight, Chinatown always crowded for many people. It was very small place. But there were a lot of restaurants and shops there. We enjoyed walking at this space.
When we step on to the back street, there was not the tourists and it was very quiet. This spot is very popular for the foreign tourists. Sometimes there are more White than Asian. At Sunday we fortunately met the market in Chinatown.
Mysterious couple(1st January 2010)
We met this couple in front of the chinese restaurant. They suddenly talked to us.

We ate chinese dishes in other chinese restaurants. But too bad, we couldn't eat(gestures to spit out)

Then we tried this dishes at the chinese restaurant "HOU KAN".
It was wide and clean unlike outside table.
Waitresses carried each wagons having verious dishes. And They recommend those dishes to guests.
We chose "Timaki", "Sho-ron-po", and "frying of the shrimp", with Jasmine tea, and had a late breakfast.
Every dishes were delicious.

By the way, we wonder why that couple talked us.
But because of that happening we could eat delicious dishes.

I was often talked to by unknown people.
Suddenly they talked to me friendly by fast Chinese and Korean language.
At first I was surprised every time.

Hideo said to me, "Maybe Your face seems to resemble them."
It might be fact, because nobody did talk him friendly.
